Ensure drawings comply with technical standards and specifications set by the Municipal Technical Cadastre Department (CTM). Transfer field survey data (collected by surveyors or field teams) into CAD (Computer-Aided Design) or QGIS (Geographic Information System) environments to create accurate graphical representations of property boundaries. Digitize old plans or cartographic documents to integrate them into the CTM’s digital system. Perform georeferencing of properties (precise positioning on Earth’s surface), ensuring correct integration of data with the municipal cartographic base. Work with satellite imagery, aerial photographs, or orthophotos to identify property changes (e.g., new constructions or expansions) and update plans based on these visual evidences. Organize and maintain data structures (layers) within CAD and GIS software to facilitate consultation and cadastral maintenance. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to resolve inconsistencies between field data and graphical representations. Generate thematic maps and graphical reports from the cadastre to support territorial management, urban planning, and regulatory enforcement (e.g., zoning maps, land-use maps, risk-area maps). Essential Knowledge The knowledge areas listed in this job posting are critical for performing these tasks: CAD Software (e.g., AutoCAD): Essential for precise technical drafting of plans. QGIS (or another GIS): Fundamental for processing, analyzing, and manipulating geographic data, as well as for multi-purpose visualization of the cadastre.
