Associate Logistics Manager

Description

Manage and optimize internal logistics and shipping processes, ensuring efficient material flow from receipt to shipment, with a focus on inventory accuracy, compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and continuous operational improvement. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Manage receiving, inspection, movement, and storage of raw materials according to demand generated by the Materials Planning team. * Manage finished goods shipping processes in accordance with plans developed by the Cajamar Logistics Planning team. * Develop and monitor KPIs related to the functional area, implementing and tracking continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and mitigating losses. * Coordinate physical and system-based inventory activities, ensuring data accuracy. * Supervise material loading and unloading, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. * Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards. * Promote effective communication of SGI (Integrated Management System) messages, encouraging team engagement. * Report operational deviations and propose corrective actions. * Manage the logistics team, fostering development, engagement, and performance. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** * Completed undergraduate degree * Intermediate/Advanced Office Suite proficiency (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) * Proven experience in Logistics * Minimum of 2 years in leadership roles within logistics or shipping * SHE training * Specific training in logistics systems and inventory management **DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS** * Strong interpersonal and influencing skills * Effective verbal and written communication * Results-oriented **REQUIREMENTS** * Full-Time * Indefinite-term contract * This position is not eligible for relocation **BENEFITS** Join SC Johnson and become part of one of the best companies to work for in Latin America: * Sustainable and innovative offices and factories designed with open spaces to inspire your creativity, equipped with the tools you need to enjoy your day-to-day work. * Development opportunities that will advance your professional career in a dynamic work environment where you can explore your potential within a global, consumer goods industry leader. * Access to a comprehensive benefits program focused on the personal, family, and financial well-being of each employee, promoting work-life balance. **ABOUT US** SC Johnson (SCJ) is a family company committed to building a better world.
