Preparation of expert reports, technical reports, and rigger studies The company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer based in Manaus. **Responsibilities:** Provide technical supervision support in mechanical engineering. Perform contract supervision related to cargo handling, personnel transportation, and riverine equipment. Conduct technical inspections of barges, vessels, pushers, as well as mechanical equipment and components. Monitor and analyze maintenance plans. Produce expert reports, technical reports, descriptive memoranda, and schedules. Inspect cargo-handling accessories and develop rigger studies. Analyze technical documents, standards, and applicable regulations. Provide operational support for cargo transportation and handling during maintenance shutdowns. Conduct technical visits to suppliers and work sites. Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Production Engineer, or Mechanical Systems Engineer may indicate suitability for some activities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
