You will operate cross-functionally, supporting multiple teams and products, acting as the technical authority for strategic data decisions, collaborating closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and business units. This is an individual contributor role with significant organizational impact and a long-term focus. Key Responsibilities * Define and evolve the data platform architecture, covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption. * Establish technical standards and best practices in data engineering for use across multiple teams. * Serve as technical authority, supporting architectural decisions and providing mentorship. * Lead decisions related to scalability, cost, governance, data quality, and reliability. * Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to align data solutions with business needs and regulatory requirements. * Resolve complex and systemic technical problems impacting multiple data pipelines, domains, or products. Required Skills * Solid experience in data engineering within large-scale environments, with hands-on involvement in data architecture and platforms. * Proficiency in AWS and Databricks (Spark / Delta Lake) applied to building Data Lakes / Lakehouse. * Advanced SQL and strong understanding of data modeling and transformation for analytical consumption. * Experience serving as technical authority or mentor for other data engineers. * Professional-level English for technical communication and collaboration with global teams.
