Monitor correct equipment usage and ensure customer satisfaction #### **About the Role:** * Act as a Self-Checkout Supervisor, ensuring security and proper operation of self-service kiosks in supermarkets or commercial establishments. Monitor correct equipment usage, prevent fraud, and assist customers during the purchasing process. Contribute to an agile, secure, and satisfying shopping experience for consumers. #### **Main Responsibilities:** * **Monitoring:** Supervise self-checkout stations to ensure customers correctly follow scanning and payment procedures for products. * **Customer Assistance:** Assist customers in using the machines, answering questions, resolving technical issues, and providing support during the payment process. * **Loss Prevention:** Identify suspicious behaviors to prevent theft and ensure all items are properly scanned and paid for, verifying weights when necessary. * **Basic Maintenance:** Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on self-checkout machines, such as replenishing receipt paper and adjusting the scale when adding bags. * **Incident Reporting:** Record and report security incidents or machine malfunctions to the supervisor or responsible technical team. * **Operational Routines:** Ensure the workplace functions properly throughout the entire shift. * **Organization and Cleanliness:** Keep self-checkout stations clean and organized. * **Compliance with Standards:** Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring service quality, timeliness, and reliability. * **Payments and Guidance:** Inform customers about accepted payment methods (cards and PIX) and guide them regarding the maximum allowed limit of 20 items per self-checkout station. * **Self-Checkout Opening and Closing:** Open self-checkout stations at the start of the shift and, at the end of the shift, close operations by retrieving subtotals and resetting the terminal for value reconciliation. * **Bagging Control:** Supervise and guide purchase bagging, ensuring tasks are performed correctly. * **Queue Assistance:** Assist in organizing queues, ensuring appropriate customer flow. #### **Requirements:** * Completed high school education. * Strong communication skills and customer service ability. * Observational skills and attention to detail. * Prior experience in supervision, security, or customer service. * Basic knowledge of electronic equipment operation or self-service systems. * Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and professionally. #### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus or food basket; * Incentive payment for achieving targets; * Discounts with distance learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partners; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site snack. #### **Work Schedule and Hours:** * Rotating schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off
