




### **About the position:** Assist the butcher in serving customers at the meat counter, working as a meat cutter and grinder, monitoring product expiration dates and quantities, checking equipment temperatures, organizing products in cold rooms, and arranging displays on counters, islands, and refrigerators. ### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed elementary education; * Must be over 18 years of age. ### **Desirable requirements:** * Prior experience as a meat counter assistant or in related areas; * Knowledge of meat cuts and meat department products; * Customer service skills; * Ability to work effectively in a team; * Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and holidays; * Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety. ### **Responsibilities:** * Serve and assist customers at the meat counter; * Provide product information and assist customers in selecting meats; * Cut, weigh, and package meats according to customer specifications; * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and work area; * Check product expiration dates and quality, discarding items unsuitable for sale; * Restock and price products on the counter and shelves; * Conduct inventory control and request restocking when necessary; * Operate meat cutting and preparation equipment; * Follow hygiene and food safety regulations to ensure product quality; * Perform cash register closing procedures and record daily sales; * Collaborate with the team and assist in other supermarket departments as needed. ### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus or food basket; * Incentive bonuses for achieving targets; * Discounts with distance-learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partner organizations; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site snacks. ### **Work schedule and hours:** * Rotating shift schedule: 6 days on, 1 day off
