JOB OPENING APPLICABLE ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF ITAÚNA. Contract type: PJ. 1 Responsibilities and Authorities * Interpret mechanical and refractory brick drawings, verifying characteristics and dimensions of parts or equipment to be manufactured, as well as ensuring the suitability of specified materials; recommend modifications deemed necessary for executing the requested services. * Select, mark out, and cut plates according to drawing specifications, using a cutting torch, shears, saws, and other tools to fabricate requested forms or parts under section supervisor instructions. * Bend, curve, and weld plates using available equipment and appropriate electrodes for the respective material to achieve the desired shape per drawings and/or sketches. * Perform supplementary calculations using a calculator and consulting reference tables to determine angles of parts to be fabricated. * Release stamping/vibration molds according to authorized work orders, comparing mold dimensions with corresponding brick drawings using calipers or tape measures within the tolerance specified in the drawings, to ensure efficient production. * Store molds on shelves, consult and keep mold archive cards updated to facilitate release procedures and traceability. * Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the type of work performed, adhering to guidelines and instructions from the Occupational Safety Technician. **Education:** To perform the above activities, the candidate must have completed elementary education. **Experience:** Minimum two years of experience in boiler-making. Knowledge of boiler-making drawing reading and interpretation, layout and development of parts, welding and cutting with torch.
