**General Job Description:** Details about the Cashier Operator position The Cashier Operator is responsible for ensuring quick, courteous, and efficient customer service by performing cash register opening and closing procedures and guaranteeing correct sales completion. This role directly handles payment reception and supports store routines, contributing to a positive customer experience and the smooth operation of the pharmacy. **Main Activities and Responsibilities:** * Receive payments through credit/debit cards, cash, insurance plans, PIX, and other available payment methods; * Accurately register products, verify amounts, and issue receipts/invoices; * Complete customer transactions with clarity and courtesy; * Perform daily cash register opening and closing, ensuring accurate reconciliation of funds; * Provide customer service with friendliness, attention, and efficiency; * Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness of the checkout area and store when necessary; * Support other pharmacy departments when requested, aiming for smooth internal operations; * Follow internal rules, safety policies, and company operational procedures.
