Operation of equipment and mold preparation according to scheduling **Job Description and Responsibilities:** **Working Hours:** Availability to work in shifts **Level:** Operational **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT **Job Responsibilities – Toolmaker** **Mold and Tooling Maintenance** * Perform preventive maintenance on plastic injection molds, inspecting wear and replacing components. * Conduct corrective maintenance by repairing or replacing damaged parts to restore production within quality standards. * Modify molds as requested by engineering, using equipment such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drills. **Production Adjustments and Support** * Adjust assembly fixtures to meet production requirements. * Perform cleaning, testing, and maintenance of hot runner systems to ensure proper operation. * Provide production support by adjusting injection molding machines and setting appropriate parameters to ensure part quality. **Assembly, Recovery, and Finishing** * Disassemble and assemble molds and fixtures, performing low-complexity adjustments and removing flash. * Polish and restore textures on tools using blasting (glass microspheres and aluminum oxide). **Equipment Operation and Preparation** * Operate overhead cranes to move parts, equipment, and tooling. * Prepare molds according to logistics scheduling, verifying peripherals and hot runner systems to ensure release for production. **Documentation and Compliance** * Complete maintenance management forms, recording materials used and hours worked. * Comply with NR-1 (Work Order) guidelines to ensure safety. * Perform tasks following the SPW methodology and participate in continuous improvement programs. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education * Availability to work in shifts * Preferred: SENAI specialization / technical competency certificate.
