### **About the position:** The Supermarket Packager is responsible for correctly packaging products purchased by customers, ensuring their quality and integrity. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining an organized and clean workplace, providing a pleasant environment for customers and coworkers. ### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed elementary education; ### **Desirable requirements:** * Prior experience in this role will be considered an advantage; * Basic mathematics knowledge to perform simple calculations of product quantity and weight; * Good communication skills and ability to interact with the public; * Ability to work in a team and follow instructions; * Agility and manual dexterity to package products efficiently; * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. ### **Responsibilities:** * Receive and verify products purchased by customers; * Package products appropriately, following supermarket-established standards and procedures; * Maintain the packaging area clean and organized, ensuring product hygiene and safety; * Assist customers in transporting purchases to their vehicles, if necessary; * Perform simple calculations of product quantity and weight; * Collaborate with the team in restocking and organizing products on shelves; * Serve customers courteously and efficiently, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty; * Follow occupational safety and hygiene regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment; * Perform other job-related tasks as needed and per supervisor’s instructions. ### **Benefits:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Attendance bonus or food basket; * Incentive payment for achieving targets; * Discounts with distance-learning institutions, pharmacies, and other partners; * Shopping discounts; * Transportation allowance; * On-site snacks. ### **Work schedule and hours:** * Rotating shift: 6 days on, 1 day off
