Opportunity for supplier negotiation and development of new suppliers **About the Role** We seek a technical and operational professional who collaborates closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure parts availability and prevent equipment downtime. This is not solely an administrative position. Field awareness, sense of urgency, and practical knowledge are essential. **Key Responsibilities** * Procure parts, consumables, and materials for equipment maintenance * Execute emergency purchases promptly and effectively * Manage physical and system-based inventory (receipts, issues, and stocktaking) * Ensure availability of critical items to avoid operational downtime * Classify and manage inventory (ABC analysis, critical items, high-value items) * Negotiate with suppliers (price, delivery time, quality) * Develop and qualify new suppliers * Define inventory levels (minimum/maximum) * Provide direct support to maintenance and operations teams * Drive cost reduction and prevent emergency purchases **Requirements** * Experience in procurement and/or warehouse operations (preferably in industrial environments or heavy equipment settings) * Basic knowledge of mechanical parts (hydraulics, bearings, hoses, etc.) * Hands-on experience in inventory control and organization * Proficiency in Excel and/or ERP systems * Proactive, organized, and urgency-oriented profile * Strong communication skills for interfacing with operations personnel (mechanics, operators, supervisors) * Valid driver's license (Class A, B, or AB) **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in equipment maintenance * Knowledge of ABC analysis * Experience in technical procurement and specialized suppliers **Profile We Seek** We are looking for someone who: * Understands the operational impact of missing a single part * Demonstrates agility in problem resolution * Does not work exclusively from the office—goes to the field when required * Possesses cost and efficiency awareness
