Performance of laboratory tests under technical supervision **Job Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** 12x36 Day/Night Shift **Level:** Operational **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT The Laboratory Technician will support hospital laboratory routines, including collection and processing of biological samples and performance of laboratory tests under technical supervision, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with institutional protocols. **Main Responsibilities** * Collect biological samples (e.g., blood, urine, and other specimens) in accordance with established protocols. * Perform appropriate sample processing for analysis. * Conduct laboratory tests under supervision of the technical responsible. * Record information in the system according to departmental procedures. * Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper condition of equipment and the workplace. * Strictly comply with biosafety standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs). * Support the team in technical and administrative laboratory routines. **Requirements:** **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed Technical Course in Clinical Analysis or Clinical Pathology. * Knowledge of biosafety standards and laboratory routines. * Availability to work according to the schedule defined by the institution. **Desirable Requirements** * Prior experience in a hospital laboratory. * Experience in collection and processing of biological samples. * Experience performing laboratory tests under supervision. * Familiarity with laboratory information systems. **Benefits:** Medical assistance, Dental assistance, Life insurance, Meal allowance, Transportation allowance
