Educate patients and their families about routines and care \#OurWayRedefinesStories **About the opportunity:** NURSING TECHNICIAN I \- PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY Responsible for performing nursing procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse I; Implement the patients' care plans and assist them with all their needs, aiming to provide comprehensive care to patients assigned to your shift. Responsibilities and Duties Perform patient care activities as prescribed, adhering to medical prescriptions, routines, and departmental protocols to ensure patient care. Record performed care activities and monitoring data using either electronic or physical medical records to confirm effective implementation of prescribed procedures and document any complications. Educate patients and their families about hospital-established rules and routines, preparation for procedures and exams, and post-discharge care continuity, supporting proper procedure execution and patient rehabilitation. Proactively respond to and manage complications involving patients and their families to ensure quality and safety of care. Comply with institutional routines and policies related to excellence standards defined by the Institution, in accordance with the JCI manual and risk management processes, to deliver high-quality, safe nursing care. Requirements and Qualifications **What we require:** Completed Nursing Technician program; Diploma (Certificates or Completion Certificates will not be accepted as proof of education); Active registration with COREN and Certificate of Regularity; Proven experience as a Nursing Technician in Pediatric Emergency. **What may set you apart:** Additional courses in the field.
