Here, you will have the opportunity to grow within an innovative environment alongside a high-performance team, tackling real-world challenges and building impactful solutions. ### **About the Role** As a Senior Platform Quality Engineer at Azion, you will join the team responsible for embedding quality as a native capability of the engineering platform—building automations, internal tools, and standards that eliminate manual dependencies throughout the development lifecycle. This is not a traditional QA role. We seek someone with a strong engineering, automation, and platform mindset—capable of implementing Shift-Left and Quality Engineering practices using CI/CD, automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, and Generative AI to accelerate secure and reliable deliveries. You will collaborate closely with development, platform, and infrastructure teams to build self-service tools, standardized pipelines, automated releases, and automated quality assurance mechanisms across our globally distributed platform. Azion embraces an AI-first culture: using AI tools is mandatory in daily work—including AI coders, LLM-based automations, and productivity agents for development, debugging, documentation, and operational acceleration. ### **Key Challenges** * Build and evolve standardized CI/CD pipelines for testing, validation, and automated releases; * Implement Shift-Left and Quality Engineering practices jointly with development teams; * Develop internal automation frameworks and tools for quality and testing; * Create self-service mechanisms via an Internal Developer Platform (IDP), leveraging tools such as Backstage and Coder; * Automate functional, integration, end-to-end, and non-functional tests; * Implement automated quality, compliance, and security validations using Policy-as-Code; * Automate releases and deployment governance in complex environments; * Enhance observability processes and software quality metrics; * Guide developers in adopting best practices for testing and automation; * Use Generative AI to accelerate test development, automation, documentation, and operational productivity; * Collaborate with platform, development, and infrastructure teams to create scalable and resilient workflows. ### **Minimum Requirements** * Experience with test automation and Quality Engineering; * Solid experience with CI/CD and pipeline automation; * Practical experience with GitOps and tools such as ArgoCD; * Knowledge of GitHub Actions, AWX, GitLab CI, or similar tools; * Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Vitest, or similar; * Ability to develop tools and automations using JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Go; * Knowledge of Linux, containers, and Docker; * Experience troubleshooting distributed environments and continuous delivery workflows; * Active use of AI tools for development, automation, and productivity; * Platform-, automation-, and continuous improvement-oriented mindset. ### **Desirable Qualifications** * Experience with non-functional and performance testing using K6; * Knowledge of Contract Testing (Pact); * Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage, Coder); * Experience with Policy-as-Code and Open Policy Agent (OPA); * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi); * Experience with Kubernetes and hybrid environments; * Knowledge of application security tools (SAST, DAST, IAST); * Experience with observability and quality metrics; * Advanced AI usage: AI agents, automation via LLM APIs, advanced prompting, and AI integration into engineering workflows. ### **Benefits & Azion Way of Life** * CLT employment contract; * Health and dental insurance; * Flexible VR and VA (Flash Card), including during vacation periods; * Commuter allowance (no payroll deduction); * Annual internal hackathons; * Mobility allowance (additional amount for commuting); * Freestyle (incentive for customizing your workstation); * Stock options (per company policy); * Birthday day off; * TotalPass; * Flexible working hours (truly flexible); * Nomad Program allowing remote work from anywhere for up to 30 days per year (per policy); * Annual international exchange program. ### **FlexWork Model** We offer a FlexWork model prioritizing cultural immersion and collaboration.
