




Job Summary: The Psychologist will work at the Psychology Training Service, supervising internships, conducting seminars, and supporting students’ practical training, thereby contributing to their professional development. The Psychologist will work at the Psychology Training Service, contributing to students’ practical training in the areas of Work Psychology, Career Guidance and Counseling, Occupational Health, or Work Clinical Psychology, through technical internship supervision and monitoring of community service activities. The position involves mentoring interns, supporting theoretical activities, and coordinating with various university departments. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct technical supervision of interns in accordance with guidelines from the Professional Council and the Training Service, promoting the development of students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes. * Lead or support theoretical seminars, contributing to students’ development of competencies specific to their professional field. * Ensure up-to-date recordkeeping, files, and documentation, as well as preparation of reports and indicators for the Service Coordination. * Be familiar with and follow the Service’s routines, ensuring compliance with institutional workflows and procedures. * Mediate intern-related requests across different levels of the Service and the university. * Be familiar with the service network, making referrals to internal and external services when necessary. * Intervene in and refer emergency situations involving service users, in accordance with institutional protocols. * Prepare and submit notifications to competent authorities, in compliance with current legislation, contributing to the promotion and protection of human rights. * Maintain communication with the intern’s academic advisor, monitoring the intern’s development in both practical and theoretical domains. * Represent the Service in institutional activities when designated by the Coordination. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Psychology; * Active registration with the Regional Psychology Council (CRP); * Additional training in Work Psychology, Career Guidance and Counseling, Occupational Health, or Work Clinical Psychology; * Professional experience in related fields; * Familiarity with guidelines issued by the Psychology Council System and the National Curriculum Guidelines (DCNs) for Psychology programs; * Knowledge of legislation and technical references guiding professional practice in Psychology; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office for preparing and updating documents, reports, and administrative records; * Experience in internship supervision or mentoring students during practical training will be considered an advantage. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** 20 hours per week, fixed schedule: Monday \- 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM Thursday \- 6:15 PM to 10:30 PM Other hours to be arranged. **Our Benefits Package:** * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Daycare reimbursement; * Education assistance covering up to 80% of undergraduate tuition fees and 50% of postgraduate, language, and extension course tuition fees; * Free parking; * Complementary private pension plan; * Life insurance; * Year-end recess. *If you believe in meaningful work that creates value and generates positive impact for society and the university,* ***JOIN PUCRS!*** At PUCRS, we believe every person can transform the world—and that belief drives us daily to become all that we can be.
