If you’re looking for a place to grow, learn, and make a difference, PagBrasil could be your next big step. \#JoinPagBrasil **Responsibilities and Duties** * Be responsible for preparing accounting balance sheets in the formats required by COSIF, ensuring technical compliance and consistency of information; * Be responsible for monitoring and meeting deadlines for submitting CADOCs to BACEN, ensuring consistency and integrity of reported information; * Coordinate and ensure accurate and timely delivery of supplementary reports (DIMP, DESIF, DERE, among others); * Be responsible for technical oversight of the application of the Lei do Bem (Law of Incentives), including controls, analyses, and support during audits or inspections; * Serve as the technical contact point for internal and external audits and specialized consulting firms, organizing information and clarifying inquiries; * Validate benefit, reimbursement, and subsidy processes, ensuring compliance, correct accounting treatment, and analysis of financial impacts; * Act as backup and support the team’s vacation processes, ensuring proper accrual and alignment with involved departments; * Prepare and review trial balances by fiscal year or account group, analyzing variances and information consistency; * Monitor and assess updates to regulations, BACEN opinions, and current legislation, identifying accounting and regulatory impacts; * Be responsible for routine closing of accounting and financial reports, including reconciliations and validations; * Perform monetary updating and accounting for taxes such as IRRF, IRPJ, PIS, COFINS, etc.; * Provide technical guidance to junior analysts, ensuring alignment with departmental processes, standards, and deadlines; * Support reconciliation and analysis of movements in accounting accounts; * Analyze impacts of tax reform and necessary fiscal adjustments; * Support the People Department with operational questions, proposing process improvements when needed; * Assist in implementing new processes, policies, systems, or practices that add value to the Finance Department. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences; * Solid knowledge of invoice issuance, taxes, rates, and tax obligations; * Ability to perform accounting and financial analysis, with focus on consistency, variances, and risks; * Ability to organize and present technical information for audits, regulators, and leadership; * Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reconciliations, and accounting controls; * Active CRC registration. **Preferred Qualifications (non-eliminatory)** * Experience in accounting for Payment Institutions; * Knowledge of the technology sector, especially payment businesses; * CNAI registration (National Registry of Independent Auditors). **Additional Information** On-site position in Porto Alegre; CLT employment contract. ***Our Benefits*** Unimed Unimax health insurance plan; Unimed dental insurance plan; Life insurance; Access to Wellz mental health platform; WellHub (Gympass); Meal and food allowance; Transportation allowance; Mobility allowance; Subsidized company parking; Extended parental leave; Birth kit; Company-subsidized English and Spanish classes; Training and development subsidy; Happy Hour budget; 14th-month salary. ***PagBrasil Way of Being:*** A relaxed, dynamic, cheerful environment with flexible working hours; Approachable leadership, strong team spirit, and open dialogue for sharing ideas and feedback; People as protagonists of their own journeys; Empathy as the foundation of our relationships; Excellence and innovation in everything we do.
