Focus on construction site safety and signage **Description** Responsible for operating backhoes and driving light and heavy vehicles to transport cargo and materials, inspect and deliver equipment. Must ensure basic maintenance, cleaning, and preservation of vehicles, as well as guarantee construction site safety and signage during operations. **Working Hours:** 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM with 1-hour lunch break / Fridays: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM / Saturdays: Compensatory day **Responsibilities and Duties** Operate backhoes; Monitor vehicle, machinery, and equipment condition, performing required operational maintenance; Drive vehicles to meet construction site requirements, operating machinery with full attention; Drive light, heavy, or articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers), transporting cargo and passengers, coupling and uncoupling trailers and flatbeds, following pre-established routes; Inspect, receive, and deliver materials and equipment; Operate hydraulic equipment mounted on vehicles; Perform tasks attentively considering movement of coworkers and people near the vehicle; Be responsible for basic safety matters (construction site signage, roadways, etc.); Conduct daily checks before starting work shifts on vehicle and equipment operating conditions (oil level, radiator water, tires, etc.); Ensure cleanliness and preservation of the vehicle under one's responsibility. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Completed High School **Requirements:** Valid driver’s license, categories “C,” “D,” or “E.” Knowledge of basic vehicle and machinery maintenance; Experience driving light, heavy, and articulated vehicles (tractor-trailers); Proficiency in material inspection, receipt, and delivery; Familiarity with route planning and cargo securing; Routine daily inspection of vehicle and equipment conditions.
