PLASTIC PROCESS TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Address quality issues on injection molding machines, such as incomplete mold filling, flash, excess material, raw material melting problems, among others; * Analyze defects using quality tools; * Analyze the injection process—from the raw material dryer, piping, raw material feed into the injection machine, operation of the injection machine, and part production—based on the mold/product; * Perform adjustments on the injection machine and its automation devices—Haitian machines; * Monitor and adjust the injection process for new products, new raw materials, and alternative raw materials; * Ensure proper robot control operation during production; * Perform mold setup—from mold change to producing acceptable parts (mold change, robot mask adjustment, 3-axis robot programming, part injection). Conduct product and mold try-outs; REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Technical degree in Plastics; * Knowledge and experience in robot programming; * Thermoplastic injection and injection molds; * Availability for shift work; * Work location: Limeira.
