The Laboratory Technical Assistant I is responsible for assisting in the performance of laboratory analyses, following technical procedures and standards. Working under supervision, this role involves sample collection, preparation of materials and reagents, and maintaining laboratory organization and safety. This professional must possess technical knowledge in the field and the ability to follow instructions accurately. * Collect biological and/or chemical samples, adhering to biosafety regulations and established procedures. * Prepare materials and reagents required for laboratory analyses. * Assist in performing laboratory tests and assays under the supervision of the technical supervisor. * Accurately and systematically record and document obtained results. * Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization, ensuring proper handling and disposal of waste and materials. * Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. * Participate in training and capacity-building activities to enhance technical knowledge. * Follow safety regulations and established procedures to prevent accidents and protect the health of personnel. * Collaborate with the laboratory technical team to support efficient operations and service quality.
