Job Summary: The Calibration Laboratory Technician calibrates, tests, and maintains machines and equipment, ensuring their proper operation and quality control of the company's instruments. Suggesting continuous improvements for greater laboratory efficiency The position of **Calibration Laboratory Technician** involves responsibilities related to calibrating and testing machines and equipment, ensuring their proper operation. The role includes maintenance, adjustments, and quality control of instruments used by the company. Key activities include: * Supporting the development and revision of technical calibration procedures; * Properly handling, preserving, and storing reference standards and instruments; * Complying with internal procedures and requirements of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025; * Issuing certificates and reports containing results, uncertainties, and technical observations; * Ensuring metrological traceability to national and international standards; * Adhering to safety, quality, and environmental standards; * Identifying and reporting nonconformities and improvement opportunities; * Participating in internal and external audits; * Performing calibrations on instruments both at company facilities and at customer sites (external environment); * Maintaining up-to-date calibration histories and equipment control records; * Workplace organization: Keeping the workplace organized and within controlled environmental conditions; * Incident handling: Efficiently managing incidents to ensure rapid and effective resolution; * Suggesting continuous improvements for greater laboratory efficiency; * Collaborating on the organization and standardization of administrative activities within the department; * Providing support for other departmental demands as needed; * Complying with the company's institutional guidelines.
