Job Summary: Schmersal Brasil is seeking a Process Engineering Intern to assist in product development, conduct tests, and monitor engineering projects. Key Highlights: 1. Monitoring engineering projects from conception to validation. **Schmersal Brasil** is recruiting candidates for the position of **Process Engineering Intern**, to be based in Boituva/SP. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist in the development of new products, components, or improvements to existing products. * Participate in the preparation of technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes. * Conduct tests, trials, and performance analyses in the laboratory or on the production line. * Record results, prepare technical reports, and support feasibility studies. * Monitor engineering projects from conception through to validation. * Assist in gathering materials, specifications, and technical documentation. * Contribute to updating internal standards, work instructions, and product dossiers. * Attend multidisciplinary meetings with Production, Quality, Procurement, and other departments. * Support failure investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. **Requirements:** **Mandatory** * Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, Materials, or related fields). * Availability to intern 20–30 hours per week. * Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). * Interest in innovation, testing, projects, and product development. **Desirable** * Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, or metrology. * Knowledge of simulation software (CAE) is a plus.
