Job Summary: A professional responsible for restocking, organizing, pricing, and transporting merchandise, as well as assisting with customer service and warehouse logistics. Key Highlights: 1. Supporting customers in locating products Job Description * Restock merchandise according to the store layout; * Verify merchandise prices against the price change list and promotional item list; * Maintain cleanliness of displayed merchandise, gondolas, and additional display areas; * Check product conditions in sales areas (expiration date, packaging, and physical condition), removing unsuitable items; * Place price labels on gondola headers and merchandise per company standards and rules; * Highlight promotional merchandise; * Install and remove promotional materials; * Guide customers to desired merchandise; \- Apply FIFO (First In, First Out \- merchandise rotation) as specified in the department manual; * Transport merchandise from the warehouse and refrigerated chambers using carts and platforms, observing load limits; * Load and unload products into refrigerated chambers; * Assist with product returns; * Identify stock shortages, record them, and report to the store manager; * Set up additional display areas and gondola ends; * Attend to promoters and monitor their work in the aisles; * Store products in the warehouse according to storage requirements; * Unload merchandise from trucks using hydraulic equipment; * Verify merchandise against invoices and purchase orders per invoice copy (quantity, weight, price, expiration date); * Sort merchandise for inventory count.
