The **INTERNAL AUDITOR** position is ideal for those seeking professional development in a collaborative environment, with emphasis on people and processes. Shall we move forward together? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Maintain confidentiality regarding all analyses conducted; * Maintain independence in all activities as an Auditor; * Support the immediate supervisor in developing the annual Internal Audit operational plan; * Conduct detailed analyses within assigned work scopes, including on-site visits, to capture the reality of operational processes; * Execute follow-up on previously completed audit work, ensuring organization and timeliness; * Support kick-off meetings for Internal Audit projects, as well as meetings for presenting results; * Consolidate Internal Audit findings and present them to the immediate supervisor; * Stay updated on auditing topics and industry developments, considering market best practices; * Maintain good relationships with peers and internal clients without compromising independence; * In performing duties, assist departments in maturing their First and Second Line structures, per the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) 2013 statement, aiming for continuous improvement; * Maintain standardization and organization of documents/workpapers, e.g., kick-off presentations, substantive testing plans, evidence from audits performed, detailed reports, executive summaries, among others; * Perform administrative tasks for the department, such as purchase requisitions, folder organization, maintenance of workpaper templates, expense tracking, and accommodation management for external consultants contracted by the Internal Audit department; * Support updating the Internal Audit Manual and other procedures required to fulfill the Internal Auditor’s mission; * Support and execute a work program for pre-audits of Financial Statements (FS), aiming to assist the Accounting/Tax department in preparing for external audits; * Support physical inventory counts across all group inventories, fulfilling the Auditor’s mission; * Execute the continuous audit plan, leveraging tools to improve efficiency (e.g., KPIs); * Maintain updated operational indicators tracking key goals established for the Internal Audit department; * Execute the work plan for monitoring recommendations issued to audited areas; * Immediately inform the immediate supervisor of any fraud indications and/or employee conduct violating organizational values and code of conduct; * Comply with all Grupo Cocal policies and procedures while performing assigned duties. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields; * Postgraduate studies in Information Technology, Business Management, Internal Control, Finance, or Auditing are desirable; * Experience in auditing, internal controls, process management, and risk assessment; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; * Knowledge of process mapping, auditing standards and procedures, risk assessment, and technical report writing; * Frameworks and best practices: COSO, IIA, COBIT, PMI/PMBOK, and CPC – Accounting Pronouncements Committee; * Experience with data analysis and/or audit tools is a plus (e.g., ACL, KNIME, Alteryx, etc.); * Must reside in Presidente Prudente–SP or Campinas–SP region; * Willingness to travel. **Additional Information** Caring for those who are with us is part of our identity.
