Job Description \-As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring operational performance in the field, as well as identifying, developing, and implementing improvements in production areas through research, technical studies, trials, and testing—ensuring the company’s technological development and supporting its continuous improvement policy, higher productivity, and financial return. **Key responsibilities include:** * Monitor and control critical process variables; participate in discussions; conduct field follow-ups; ensure delivery of KPIs; and interface with other company departments to monitor product delivery; * Perform mass, metallurgical, and water balance closures for the production process; * Conduct static and dynamic simulations to optimize production process performance; * Develop new suppliers of raw materials and consumables, including bench-scale testing and plant-scale validation; * Develop processes and new processing routes to improve production processes; * Develop and monitor short- and medium-term projects; * Collect and process data and information to develop business intelligence solutions that support optimal strategic decision-making; * Commission new industrial technologies and equipment, including field follow-up; * Participate in the annual budget (OPEX) and capital investment plan (CAPEX) preparation for the Process area, aligning with the company’s needs and priorities, and manage financial disbursements after annual budget approval—ensuring continuity of the Process area and efficient management of company expenditures; * Demonstrate knowledge enriched by practical experience, though still in the consolidation phase, and may assume direct responsibility for medium-complexity activities within their area of expertise, requiring supervision in decision-making and guidance to further develop their knowledge; * Comply with Safety and Occupational Health, Environmental, Social Responsibility, and Business Integrity policies and procedures. **Qualifications \-The profile we seek for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Mining, or Production Engineering. * Active CREA registration. * Familiarity with data analysis tools and/or software such as Minitab is desirable. **Additional Information \-Why join our team?** We are a company committed to turning our beliefs and values into reality.
