If you identify with our company, join VALGROUP—we’ll go much further together! **\#transformplasticwithus** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Apply occupational safety knowledge to the workplace and all its components—including machines and equipment—to reduce or eliminate existing risks to workers’ health and physical integrity; * Determine, when all known risk elimination methods have been exhausted and the risk persists—even if reduced—that workers use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), as required by NR 6, provided the concentration, intensity, or nature of the hazard so demands; * Collaborate, upon request, in the design and implementation of the company’s new physical and technological facilities, exercising the competencies outlined above; * Maintain continuous interaction with the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), fully leveraging its observations, while supporting, training, and attending to it, as stipulated in NR 5; * Promote awareness-raising, education, and guidance activities for workers on preventing occupational accidents and diseases—through both campaigns and permanent programs; * Clarify and raise employer awareness regarding occupational accidents and diseases, encouraging preventive action; * Analyze all accidents occurring within the company—whether with or without injuries—as well as all cases of occupational disease; * Conduct occupational safety integration sessions for new employees and service providers; * Prepare work orders guiding employees on the risks they face while performing their duties; * Develop new safety equipment and collective protective equipment; * Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify unsafe conditions and propose improvements to comply with safety regulations; * Inspect machines and equipment to ensure safe operation, thereby protecting employees from accident hazards; * Inspect emergency equipment to guarantee proper functionality when needed; * Monitor compliance with occupational accident prevention norms, procedures, and systems across the company; * Monitor and enforce compliance with Occupational Safety and Environmental regulations; * Monthly update, verify, and submit occupational safety data to eSocial via the ERP system used; * Inspect and monitor validity of forklift operator licenses authorizing their operation; * Issue certificates for industrial waste disposal to ensure correct waste destination. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety. * Training in NRs 11, 23, 33, and 35\. * Office Suite training (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). **Additional Information** * Health Insurance Plan * Dental Insurance Plan * Basic Food Basket * Chartered Transportation * Life Insurance * Profit Sharing Program (PPR) With nearly half a century in the market, **Valgroup** has established itself as a benchmark in plastic production, processing, and recycling, operating strategically located units across Brazil and worldwide.
