Achieve extraordinary things by joining our team and make a difference in your professional development, in the community, and around the world!** **Key Responsibilities**: * Overhaul equipment to ensure standardization and optimal functionality according to quality and safety standards, with maximum performance. * Technical reference for Front End equipment. * Conduct failure analysis. * Participate in format capability projects. * Develop and deliver specific training to transfer knowledge and updates to plant maintenance technicians. * Train/orient production unit employees through procedures/training to build their capabilities and disseminate best practices. * Contribute ideas and support implementation of engineering-developed projects and Start-up activities for new production lines or new facilities, applying engineering-developed equipment and process modifications and innovations to ensure project success. * Develop equipment improvements within the Front End scope aimed at reducing maintenance time and extending equipment service life. * Inspect and install newly designed parts or components using engineering drawings and training materials to eliminate potential design or manufacturing defects. * Install and evaluate parts and components introduced into the production process through production monitoring to ensure equipment/component performance. * Develop procedures based on manufacturer recommendations and maintenance records with photos to standardize activities and execute them correctly. * Perform mechanical maintenance on subassemblies of key production unit equipment using procedures, manufacturer recommendations, and supplier-developed solutions to ensure proper equipment operation and timely execution of maintenance per each unit’s predefined schedule. * Participate in Front End equipment Overhauls across South America and other regions as required. **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed technical education in mechanical or electromechanical fields. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in can manufacturing Front End operations. * Intermediate Excel proficiency. * Willingness to travel, including at least one week per month—or two consecutive weeks for international travel within South America. **Desirable** * Green Belt certification. * Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. **Additional Information** * **Work Location:** Primary work location will be Pouso Alegre/MG. * **Work Model:** 100% on-site. * **Working Hours:** 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or as aligned with the factory schedule where travel assignments occur. **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
