Job Description: **Job Mission** Responsible for supervising the Operations Tower, ensuring daily operational performance, process execution, and KPI achievement. Acts as an integration point across departments, ensuring operational visibility, rapid deviation management, and data-driven decision support. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. Team Leadership and Management * Lead and develop the direct team in internal operations and with partners. (Nova Minas / Único; others) * Supervise Billing and Weighbridge operations. * Ensure the team works with clarity on roles, goals, KPIs, and priorities. * Participate in daily meetings, operational reviews, and performance alignment sessions. * Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, learning, and engagement. * Act as a facilitator for problem resolution. * Monitor process execution using internal logistics KPIs / KEYs at the Pouso Alegre plant. * Proactively respond to operational deviations, proposing and tracking corrective actions. * Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Transportation, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted flow. 2\. Supervision of Billing and Weighbridge Operations * Supervise vehicle weighing activities upon entry and exit from the factory. * Ensure correct issuance of fiscal and transport documents (NF\-e, MDF\-e, CT\-e). * Monitor weighing and billing discrepancies, ensuring consistency among cargo, weight, and documentation. * Ensure proper document flow for cargo and driver release. * Interface with Logistics, Security, and Transportation to meet shipment deadlines. * Ensure organization and archiving of fiscal documents and weighing tickets. 3\. Governance, Procedures, and Continuous Improvement * Lead process improvement, automation, rework reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives. * Map, review, document, and standardize internal logistics flows. * Develop and facilitate correct use of systems, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), and operational tracking. 4\. KPI and SLA Monitoring * Supervise KPI tracking; * Ensure operations are based on accurate and up-to-date data. * Identify trends, deviations, bottlenecks, and propose action plans. * Prepare and present managerial reports to warehouse management. 5\. Integration and Communication * Serve as the focal point between the Operations Tower, operations, warehouses, distribution centers (DCs), carriers, and corporate departments. * Act as the Logistics area facilitator, mediating and integrating departments at the Pouso Alegre Plant. * Ensure critical information is shared timely with leadership (operational alerts, risks, deviations, and opportunities). * Support internal and external operations interface. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics / IT, or related fields. * Solid prior experience in this role. * Intermediate Excel – Data manipulation, pivot tables, complex formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX\+MATCH, SUMIFS), charts, and basic automation (VBA/Macros is a plus). * Data Analysis – Ability to consolidate and visualize planning and operational performance data. * SAP – Report extraction, inventory analysis, production scheduling, and order management. * Inventory and Supply Chain Management – Knowledge of logistics flow, distribution, and inventory balancing. * Production Planning and Scheduling – Understanding of production stages, capacity adjustment, and demand alignment across departments. * KPI Management – Tracking metrics such as OTIF, capacity utilization, service level, and operational performance. * Logistics and Transportation Knowledge – Load scheduling adjustments, dispatch time windows, and alignment with distribution areas. * Collaboration Tools (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) – Efficient communication and information management across teams. * Corporate Policies and Procedures – Knowledge of compliance, safety, and operational practices within General Mills.
