Guidance to operational assistants on cargo loading and packaging A transportation, warehousing, and courier company seeks a Cargo Checker in Fortaleza. **Responsibilities:** Plan cargo routes for transfer. Monitor loading and unloading operations, including opening/closing OCDs and entering fiscal invoices. Load cargo according to pre-established routing plans. Guide operational assistants on proper cargo handling and storage at the cargo terminal. Perform cargo volume measurement (cubage) and locate cargo within the terminal. Monitor loading and unloading at customer sites. Handle cargo for verification purposes. Review fiscal documentation. Scan product barcodes and apply labels. Handle segregated cargo and record damages and overages in the system. Handle TBL smartphones with care, report functionality issues to leadership, and ensure equipment remains fully functional during one’s shift. Seal SRs with sequential seals, enter seal numbers on OCs, verify PCDs, and print related documents. Perform related tasks. Previous experience as a Merchandise Checker, Inventory Checker, Warehouse Checker, or Logistics Checker may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position. High school diploma required.
