Prepare surfaces prior to painting, including cleaning, applying fine or skim coat plaster, and sanding. Analyze and prepare paints for surface painting. Perform maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment. Select materials to be used according to work orders. Comply with all procedures and work instructions related to Painter activities. Adhere to safety regulations and all other company policies. Previous experience as a Decorator, Paint Applicator, Surface Restorer, or Industrial Painter may indicate suitability for some of the responsibilities associated with this position. Completion of elementary education required.
