Responsibilities **Job Mission** Responsible for developing plant operational parameter controls and monitoring performance indicators, as well as pursuing continuous improvement, aiming to ensure production process performance in accordance with current safety/environment, cost, quality, and production policies. **Responsibilities** * Collaborate to ensure optimal operational unit performance by conducting studies or providing recommendations regarding the production process; * Ensure industrial process optimization through the development of basic engineering studies; * Accelerate the resolution of operational issues through in-depth knowledge, comprehension, and understanding of production areas; * Participate in identifying problems and resolving high-risk points in the industrial process using risk analysis methods (HAZOP); * Prepare periodic monitoring reports for respective areas using data derived from the production process; * Monitor equipment and instrumentation procurement to ensure suitability for the process, through comparative analysis of proposals and issuance of technical opinions; * Expedite and develop performance evaluations of areas, as well as projects for new equipment and operational units, through the development of application software; * Identify new technologies for process replacement or improvement through studies and research, including technical\-economic feasibility; * Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to organizational policies and occupational health, safety, and environmental standards; * Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and adherence to organizational policies and occupational health, safety, and environmental standards through the execution of assigned activities. Requirements **Education** Bachelor’s Degree Completed \- Chemical Engineering; Desirable: MBA or Specialization; Active Regional Council registration (CRQ).
