Management of guest experience in luxury entertainment **Description:** ---------------- Are you passionate about leading strategically—with a focus on people and results—in high-performing hotel environments? We are looking for a Choreographer. Based on general procedures and objectives defined by the Entertainment Manager—in collaboration with the incumbent—the role is responsible for choreographing, directing, rehearsing, and performing all shows staged in the theater (in Portuguese, Spanish, and English) and/or in any other area of the hotel, ensuring service quality and efficiency in accordance with company-defined standards. Additionally, the role is responsible for conceiving, teaching, and coordinating artistic productions and dance activities designed for guest entertainment, ensuring that entertainment serves as a competitive differentiator for the hotel. The position requires purely artistic expertise within a strategic leadership role—focused on performance, creation of rhythmic body movements for dance, theater, and events—and translating ideas, emotions, or scripts into embodied language through data and development. **Responsibilities:** * Show Creation: Design movement scripts and step sequences for nightly shows and themed resort events. * Show Restructuring and Updating: Review existing shows and propose improvements and updates. * Direction and Rehearsals: Instruct the leisure team (animators and dancers) on required techniques, rhythms, and facial expressions for each performance. * Costume and Set Management: Collaborate in selecting and organizing costumes, props, and visual elements for each presentation. * Guest Interaction: Conduct recreational dance classes (e.g., Latin rhythms, axé, or ballroom dance) and participate in reception moments and departmental parties. * Guest Experience Management: Adapt shows and performances to the cultural and demographic profile of guests. Ensure every presentation aligns with the standard of excellence and sophistication expected at a luxury hotel. * Technical Operations: Supervise stage technical quality—including basic sound and lighting adjustments—to ensure safety and visual impact. Guarantee seamless integration of transitions, lighting, and special effects with dance, acrobatics, and other effects. * Spatial Planning: Organize stage movement (scene design), ensuring harmony with set and lighting. * Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with directors, costume designers, sound technicians, and set designers to ensure show unity. * Technical Adaptation: Adjust choreographies for different media (e.g., camera framing in audiovisual production) or cast physical limitations. * Show Hosting and/or Presentations: Support show hosting when needed or in the absence of the MC. * Team Management: Directly manage the dancer team—responsible for scheduling days off/vacations (always validated with the Entertainment Manager) and for training, rehearsals, and choreography—motivating and maintaining artistic team engagement while ensuring discipline and professionalism. * Continuous Improvement and Updates: Stay current with trending artistic dance styles on social media and emerging choreographic techniques.
