Opportunity at a 100% Brazilian company Perbras seeks committed professionals with initiative to deliver results at the assigned facility. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assemble/disassemble, install/uninstall, diagnose, trace, replace parts, test, clean, preserve, and perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on: electric motors, transformers, generators, circuit breakers, heaters, low- and high-voltage protection and control panels, Motor Control Centers (MCC), control panels, power supply panels, grounding panels, cables, resistors, junction boxes, panel-field interfaces, and electrical components and devices of material handling equipment, emergency generators, industrial and building lighting systems, among others. * Read and interpret schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, control and power diagrams, junction boxes, and control panels where services will be performed. * Perform low- and medium-voltage electrical connections; conduct electrical measurements such as current, voltage, and insulation resistance. * Disconnect, remove, install, connect, megger, and verify cable integrity. * Verify and calibrate instruments, sensors, and protective relays. * Test operation of equipment, panels, and electrical devices. * Package, unpack, and handle equipment, spare parts, consumables, and tools. * Perform minor mechanical repairs and component fastening for systems and installations. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical training in electroelectronics, electromechanics, or electrotechnics from an institution recognized by the MEC, with registration in the respective professional council. * Experience in electrical maintenance of industrial equipment at oil and natural gas production facilities or oil and natural gas processing plants. * Desired: Training in Electrical Installations in Explosive Atmospheres, compliant with NBR-IEC-60079. * Mandatory: NR-10 – Basic (40 hours) and NR-35 training. * Desired: NR-33 – Confined Space – Attendant and Authorized Worker training (and valid refresher courses). We operate terrestrial petroleum production rigs with capacities ranging from 60,000 lb to 300,000 lb, suitable for performing any type of intervention in oil and natural gas wells, adhering to principles of Quality, Safety, and Environment. **Other Services (OS) – Business Units** At the end of the 1990s, having already consolidated its position in the Brazilian PPR market, Perbras decided to expand its portfolio by offering other services along the petroleum industry’s production chain. Its first contract for Sonolog and Dynamometer services—measuring production levels, diagnosing sucker rods and well pumps—was launched under the “Other Services” designation to distinguish it from the company’s core business. “Other Services” enabled Perbras to serve Petrobras and other clients across diverse segments, challenging its technical staff and managers to continually acquire new skills and knowledge to deliver services matching the quality already proven in the PPR market.
