Responsible for modernizing legacy systems by designing, developing, and evolving scalable AI-enabled solutions that bridge traditional technologies with modern architectures. This role requires strong full-stack development skills, openness to working with legacy languages, and the ability to integrate machine learning and generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications. You will collaborate daily in English with multidisciplinary global teams. **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications across frontend and backend layers. * Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems by enabling integration with modern platforms, APIs, and services. * Integrate APIs, machine learning models, and AI services into applications to enhance functionality and automation. * Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and platform teams to deliver AI-driven solutions. * Participate in the design and architecture of modernization and AI-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. * Apply best practices in clean code, version control, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD. * Explore, prototype, and implement solutions using Generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and intelligent automation as project needs arise. * Support gradual migration and coexistence of legacy and modern technologies, ensuring business stability and continuity. * Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. * Advanced English proficiency for daily collaboration with international teams. * Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in corporate environments or complex systems. * Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. * Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases. * Willingness and curiosity to learn and work with legacy languages such as COBOL, Natural/Adabas, PL/I, or similar. * Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, with a proactive mindset and focus on continuous learning. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with Groovy, Python, or React. * Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments. * Familiarity with graph databases such as Neo4j. * Practical experience integrating applications with Large Language Models (LLMs). * Knowledge of AI Agent configuration and orchestration. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Exposure to legacy modernization toolkits or frameworks. **WHY CAPCO:** At **Capco**, we foster an inclusive culture.
