Job Summary:
A professional responsible for managing parts in the system, performing inspections, requesting outgoing invoices, coordinating with carriers, and operating forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Parts and documentation inbound/outbound management
2. Forklift operation and truck loading/unloading
3. Carrier coordination and department organization
Position: Shipping Assistant
Forklift operator certification required.
Main Duties:
* Register customer parts inbound and outbound in the system;
* Inspect customer parts upon receipt and dispatch;
* Request issuance of outgoing invoices;
* Coordinate with carriers (schedule pickups and obtain freight quotations);
* Operate forklifts;
* Load and unload trucks;
* Release and pack customer parts;
* Maintain organization and upkeep of tools and documentation related to assigned services;
* Keep the work area clean and organized;
