Perform organization and cleaning tasks in compliance with GMP **Job Description:** **Position:** Operator II **Location:** Ponta Grossa \- PR **Job Responsibilities:** Perform tasks as required by respective departments to ensure planned production volume, efficiency, 5S, productivity, loss levels, and other KPIs in alignment with quality, safety, and environmental policies. Demonstrate behaviors (MLCs and Supply Capabilities) to contribute to the Mars Petcare team and business. What are we looking for? * Completed Technical Course (certified by MEC with 1200 hours of instruction) * Intermediate-level Office Suite and SAP proficiency * Experience in a manufacturing environment as an Operator II * Availability to work rotating shifts * Preferred knowledge of 5S, problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, 5W1H), continuous improvement (Kaizen), experience with preparation, filling, and packaging machinery/equipment, and basic understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), including Autonomous Maintenance (Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Centerline) * We seek an innovative individual with strong interpersonal skills who prioritizes the well-being of our end consumers What would be your key responsibilities? * Responsible for operating and maintaining equipment per operational procedures * Ensure documentation of standard operational hygiene procedures (PPHO) for your work area * Organize and actively support 5S implementation in the area (Utilization, Organization, Cleaning, Improvement, Maintenance), ensuring Mars Pet Nutrition BR achieves target scores for monthly audits * Responsible for monitoring PCC and PPRO within your assigned area * Execute organization and cleaning tasks at your workstation by following the existing cleaning plan and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment * Perform tasks in accordance with departmental operational procedures (LPPs, TP, IT) * Carry out duties adhering to Safety Rules and prioritizing Mars’ four focus safety standards: working at height, hot work, mobile equipment, and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) * Ensure Food Safety by complying with Quality Rules * Maintain and safeguard equipment integrity * Share theoretical knowledge (only) regarding processes/equipment of machines under your responsibility with Operator I in a didactic manner * Act proactively and promptly to resolve difficulties, prevent and/or solve problems * Use and control inputs (raw materials and packaging materials) responsibly to ensure inventory accuracy * Develop and deliver training for other associates on LPPs and LUPs * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for performance indicators in your work area through involvement in continuous improvement teams * Conduct periodic process and product inspections to monitor and record quality parameters according to established standards via routine execution * Serve as JTM (Just Ten Minutes Operational Meeting) backup, reporting indicator deviations and developing action plans for the shift * Understand key performance indicators relevant to your area, recognize their impact on daily work, and know methods to address low performance * Improve machine/process performance by 1\-3% annually (OEE/TRS) What can you expect from Mars? * Opportunity to work for a multinational company with strong presence in the countries where it operates, producing high-quality products and globally recognized brands such as MMs®, Snickers®, Twix®, Skittles®, Uncle Ben’s®, Pedigree®, Whiskas®, Cesar®, Royal Canin® * We uphold equal employment opportunities; all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law * We offer an attractive benefits and compensation package, including medical and dental plans, private pension, meal allowance, pharmaceutical reimbursement, extended maternity and paternity leave, among others * Most importantly: To our associates—whom we call everyday heroes—we offer opportunities to learn, dream, and grow with freedom, mutuality, and security.
