




Job Summary: A workshop assistant supports mechanics by assembling/disassembling parts, organizing tools, and performing oil/filter changes on vehicles. Key Highlights: 1. Organization and maintenance of tools and the work environment JOB REQUIREMENTS: Basic-level automotive mechanics and/or electrical training is preferred, and/or experience working in mechanics. Knowledge and skills in oil and filter replacement are preferred. If high school has not been completed, ongoing enrollment must be verified. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist mechanics, assemble and disassemble parts and accessories, clean parts, organize/hygienize and maintain tools; Retrieve parts and tools from the warehouse to deliver to mechanics; Perform vehicle oil/filter changes and assist with basic inspections under the supervision of a certified mechanic; Organize the workplace, workbenches, and parts currently being installed on vehicles; Other duties typical of a workshop assistant.
