Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer to perform programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses conducted by systems analysts. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs 2. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS 3. Experience with georeferenced databases (PostGIS) Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Surveys (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and land cover, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, using requirements gathering and analyses conducted by systems analysts as supporting inputs. REQUIREMENTS Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuration and usage of GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Familiarity with APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, particularly PostGIS; Experience with the OpenLayers or Leaflet library.
