The Traffic Operator is responsible for managing vehicle traffic on highways, conducting traffic enforcement, traffic control, monitoring road conditions, and supporting light towing operations. Additionally, the professional will communicate with the Operational Control Center (OCC) to ensure smooth operations and highway safety. * Monitor and regulate vehicle traffic on highways, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and maintaining safety; * Conduct vehicle inspections, checking documentation, safety conditions, and compliance with traffic rules; * Coordinate actions to reduce congestion by identifying critical points and implementing measures to optimize traffic flow; * Prevent and respond to hazardous situations such as accidents or adverse traffic conditions to ensure roadway safety and fluidity; * Perform light towing operations, safely and efficiently removing disabled or accident-involved vehicles in accordance with safety standards and operational procedures; * Maintain constant communication with the Operational Control Center (OCC), reporting traffic conditions, incidents, and support requirements, ensuring efficient coordination of rescue and road maintenance activities; * Monitor road and signage conditions, recording anomalies or maintenance needs, and coordinating actions with responsible teams; * Provide support to emergency, security, and maintenance teams during accidents or emergency situations on the highway; * Prepare reports on traffic conditions, observed incidents, actions taken, and completed towing operations; * Collaborate with other agencies and teams such as highway police, security units, and other service providers to ensure smooth operations and driver safety; * Ensure communication equipment, tow trucks, and signage are always functioning properly; * Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor; * Assist in animal removal operations along the inspected stretch, ensuring user safety; * Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor; * Properly use company-provided systems and resources for job performance in accordance with internal policies and procedures; * Properly use company-provided systems and resources for job performance in accordance with internal policies and procedures; * At the beginning of each shift, inspect the vehicle's operating conditions including water, oil, tire condition, overall state, and fuel level, reporting any deficiencies to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliant vehicle use according to established norms, procedures, and guidelines; * Know and comply with all policies, standards, procedures, and work instructions defined by the company's Quality, Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, and Road Safety management systems applicable to their work area, as established by the company or current legislation. 2511260202401886843
