Job Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Assistant supports activities related to the installation, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression systems. Key Highlights: 1. Perform periodic visual inspections and complete technical reports **Position: Industrial Maintenance Assistant – Fire Suppression Systems** **Job Description:** The Industrial Maintenance Assistant supports activities related to the installation, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of fire suppression systems, including fire detection and alarm systems. Works to ensure full functionality of equipment and devices, contributing to industrial facility safety and compliance with current technical standards. **Main Responsibilities:** * Support the installation and maintenance of fire suppression systems, such as hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers, fire pumps, and piping networks. * Assist in the installation and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems (control panels, manual call points, smoke and heat detectors, sirens, and signalers). * Conduct operational tests at fire pump houses and field devices. * Assist in cable routing, conduit installation, and infrastructure setup for fire protection systems. * Conduct operational tests on hydrants, sprinklers, and other hydraulic systems. * Perform periodic visual inspections according to preventive maintenance schedules. * Complete technical reports documenting performed activities. * Maintain organization of tools, materials, and the work environment. * Strictly comply with occupational safety regulations and applicable technical standards (e.g., ABNT and Fire Department regulations). **Desirable Requirements:** * Completed high school education (preferred). * Ability to work in a team and attention to detail. * Willingness to perform fieldwork. * Basic knowledge of industrial or commercial electrical systems (preferred). * Basic knowledge of fire suppression systems is a plus (preferred).
