




Behind everything we deliver at ICI, there is a series of essential professionals. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, the ability to solve complex problems, and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities include ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company's Linux systems, as well as implementing and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure solutions. **Responsibilities and duties** * Configure and maintain physical and virtual Linux servers; * Install and update system software and applications on Linux servers; * Perform network and security configurations on Linux systems; * Diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues; * Automate system administration tasks using scripts (Shell, Python, etc.); * Guide backup and data recovery procedures; * Collaborate with other members of the IT team to resolve infrastructure issues; * Provide support to the systems development area; * Manage the local network, as well as directly or indirectly related computing resources; * Perform user administration through the official corporate tool for creating, managing, and deleting user logins across all domains managed by ICI; * Keep the server monitoring service updated for the Data Center and Local Network servers, ICI, and its respective clients; * Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information under their management and verify incidents of violations and/or security breaches; * Provide technical assessments of potential issues identified or suggestions for expanding IT solutions; * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. * Experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or in a similar role; * Experience in configuring and administering network services such as DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc. * Strong understanding of TCP/IP networks and related protocols; * Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or other relevant language; * Relevant certifications (e.g., LPIC, RHCSA, RHCE) are a plus. **Knowledge:** * Virtualization, Servers, and Storage; * Information security; * Operational support; * Network routing; * Computer Networks (TCP/IP, VLAN); * SNMP, TELNET, FTP, SSH, SMTP, IMAP, HTTPs, etc. protocols; * Backup tools; * Servers. **Behavioral competencies:** * Focus and organization; * Commitment to continuous improvement; * Proactivity and initiative; * Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. **Additional information** **Working hours:** * Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (from 09:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM). **Work mode:** * Hybrid, with 2 days of remote work per week. **Benefits:** * Meal allowance and/or food voucher; * Transportation allowance for onsite and hybrid employees; * Health insurance: we offer a special Sul América plan (private room) with no co-payment!
