Job Summary: A professional responsible for executing authorization processes for medical procedures, serving beneficiaries, and managing authorizations, ensuring quality and satisfaction of all stakeholders. Culture of respect, integrity, and care * Executes authorization processes for medical procedures (consultations, exams, and hospitalizations), both locally and inter-regionally. * Serves beneficiaries through in-person, telephone/CHAT support for the cooperative and accredited healthcare assistance network. * Submits requests for OPME (Orthopedic, Prosthetic, and Dental Materials) or medications to the Pharmaceutical Supply Center or to the intra-federative system. * Submits authorization requests and supporting documents to auditors, contracted companies, and other entities within the Unimed system. * Issues authorization approvals/denials in accordance with official opinions and within legally mandated timeframes. * Manages denied authorization cases by verifying contractual limits, waiting periods, pre-existing conditions, unregulated contracts, and ANS (National Health Agency) guidelines. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Performs predefined procedures with quality; * Understands and addresses the needs of involved stakeholders; * Provides information and solutions; * Ensures stakeholder satisfaction (attentiveness and promptness in service). **Requirements and Qualifications** Completed high school education Computer literacy **Additional Information** Higher education in Administration (preferred) Unimed Poços represents the realization of a dream shared by a group of physicians who, on December 5, 1991, gathered to establish a medical cooperative enabling dignified and ethical work for physician members and delivering human-centered, high-quality care to their customers.
