Join the journey of one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the country! **\#JoinOmie** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor and optimize query performance and database resource utilization. * Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery to ensure data continuity. * Implement security policies and access controls for databases. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a DBA. * Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, especially SQL Server (MSSQL), MySQL, and MongoDB. Knowledge of Aurora and DynamoDB is a plus. * Solid experience in performance analysis and tuning, including identifying bottlenecks in queries, indexes, table structures, and configurations—and implementing improvements focused on efficiency and stability. * Experience operating in high-availability and resilient environments, including replication, failover, automated backups, restore procedures, and disaster recovery strategies. * Experience with database monitoring and observability: configuring alerts and analyzing metrics (e.g., slow query logs, performance statistics, etc.). * Knowledge of automating routine tasks such as backups, integrity checks, maintenance, and auditing. * Database security practices: access control (RBAC), encryption, secret management, and compliance with data protection best practices. * Proactive, organized, and results-oriented profile. * Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in teams, and adaptability to startup dynamics. **Additional Information** Flexible Benefit/Meal Voucher: R$ 45.00 per business day.
