At BMG, we are driven to do things differently and better—with integrity, simplicity, and a unique way of being: the BMG Way. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Work with large datasets and solve complex data analysis problems; * Develop, validate, implement, and monitor statistical solutions such as algorithms, AI, and Machine Learning, among others; * Conduct studies to understand the root causes of key business issues and propose data-driven solutions aimed at improving the profitability and effectiveness of the Collection area; * Present findings using data visualization techniques and storytelling—clearly and comprehensibly, without compromising scientific rigor; * Serve as a subject-matter expert in the Data Science area regarding modeling and knowledge of financial products. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with strong programming and statistical modeling skills for developing and monitoring solutions. * Solid proficiency in SQL and Python programming languages, plus hands-on experience with machine learning and data science tools, frameworks, and platforms such as Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, Plotly, Dash, Matplotlib, and similar technologies; * Ability to translate complex results into compelling narratives, explaining concepts clearly, concisely, and objectively; * Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, good interpersonal relationships, proactivity, flexibility, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency; * Completed undergraduate degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or related fields); * Knowledge of collections/credit and Resolution 4966 is a plus; * Availability to work under a hybrid model, attending the São Paulo office located at Av.
