Production Manager (Passos MG)

Description: Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering or related field Minimum 4 years of experience in developing industrial food production processes Specific knowledge of creating, monitoring, and parameterizing KPIs and targets Knowledge of lean manufacturing Knowledge and skills in labor and resource balancing Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and group facilitation (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, MASP, etc.) Cost & Performance Management * Manage costs, expenses, and the unit’s annual budget * Reduce waste and ensure efficient use of resources * Monitor income statements (DRE), targets, and results, presenting analyses to senior management * Propose continuous improvements and optimizations in the production process * Develop and monitor performance indicators (productivity, costs, efficiency) Production Management * Plan, monitor, and ensure production flow aligns with commercial demand * Ensure productivity meets company-defined standards * Guarantee product quality, safety, and technical specifications * Control raw material and finished goods inventories, supporting stocktaking activities * Prepare periodic reports and analyses on unit performance Legislation & Compliance * Ensure compliance with Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and internal occupational health and safety policies * Coordinate annual inspections (e.g., NR13) and audits conducted by MAPA and other regulatory bodies * Maintain updated legal records and documentation for the unit Facilities & Maintenance * Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to operational best practices within the unit * Manage the maintenance plan in partnership with the responsible department * Oversee building infrastructure, access control, and general upkeep People Management * Lead the team with focus on culture, engagement, and high performance * Manage hiring, internal transfers, vacations, time banks, and shift schedules * Develop the production supervisor and prepare successors * Support performance evaluations and internal training initiatives * Onboard new employees, reinforcing company rules and policies * Foster a positive organizational climate and interdepartmental collaboration * Receive customers, visitors, and suppliers at the unit 2512050202181904326
