**Job Mission:**
To strategically and analytically identify, measure, assess, monitor, and report the company’s market and operational risks, contributing to decision-making, financial resilience, and strengthening of the internal control environment.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
**Your key challenges will include:**
* Daily monitoring of **financial exposure**, including foreign exchange, derivatives, hedging, proprietary positions, and price sensitivity.
* Calculation and analysis of **VaR**, **stress testing**, **backtesting**, Greeks (where applicable), and other quantitative risk models.
* Development and updating of dashboards and monitoring reports for senior management.
* Evaluation of limits, risk appetite, market trends, and alerting on potential breaches of parameters.
* Strategic analytical support to Treasury, Finance, and Procurement (commodities) departments.
* Root cause analysis, incident assessment, and monitoring of key risk indicators (KRIs).
* Oversight of policies, processes, and regulatory compliance (e.g., CVM, Central Bank, where applicable).
* Collaboration with departments in scenario development, contingency testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Development of statistical and forecasting models using **R, Python, and SQL**.
* Automation of reports, risk routines, and data capture processes.
* Ensuring data quality, integrity, and traceability of underlying databases.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in: Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
* Postgraduate studies in related fields are desirable.
* Minimum of 6 months of experience in this or related fields.
**Preferred qualifications include:**
* Proven experience in **Market and Liquidity Risk**;
* Knowledge of **statistical modeling** and quantitative techniques.
* Proficiency with Bloomberg **MARS module**.
* Programming: **R, Python, and SQL**.
* Advanced **Excel/VBA** proficiency.
* Knowledge of **derivatives, foreign exchange, and futures markets**.
* Experience with **pre- and post-trade risk systems**.
* Familiarity with **agricultural commodities** (wheat, sugar, oil, cocoa, etc.).
* PQO (Risk or Operational).
* Other relevant certifications: CRM, FRM, CGA (optional).
