Preventive equipment maintenance and inventory control SUPERMERCADO CORDEIRO HIRING FOR ITS STORE TEAM: REFRIGERATION DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR ***Main responsibilities of a refrigeration department supervisor:*** * **Production coordination:** Organize workflow, assign tasks, and ensure production meets demand and quality standards. * **Team management:** Lead, motivate, and train the production team, ensuring optimal performance and workplace safety. * **Quality control:** Monitor product quality at all process stages—from slaughter to storage—ensuring compliance with established standards. * **Equipment maintenance:** Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration, slaughter, and deboning equipment, ensuring proper operation and avoiding unplanned downtime. * **Inventory management:** Control inventory of products, raw materials, and equipment, ensuring availability of necessary production materials. * **Hygiene and safety:** Ensure compliance with hygiene and occupational safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment. * **Cross-departmental coordination:** Liaise with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to integrate operations and ensure customer satisfaction. * ***Required skills and knowledge:*** * Experience in slaughterhouses and production processes. * Knowledge of food hygiene and safety. * Leadership and team management skills. * Knowledge of refrigeration and slaughter equipment maintenance. * Ability to organize and control inventory. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
