Focus on asset reliability and availability **We are seeking a Docking Planning Technician to work at Estaleiro São Miguel, whose mission will be to actively work in the company's Maintenance department.** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan, control, and execute system (software) integration, comprehensive asset reliability techniques, and departmental indicators to ensure the highest standards of fleet reliability and availability. * Implement technical and economic methodologies to ensure the evolution of corporate maintenance—from planning through to asset management. * Prepare departmental indicator reports to generate reliable information sources enabling the design of structural and innovative solutions for continuous improvement. * Execute integration of the system (software), comprehensive asset reliability techniques, departmental indicators, and QSMS policies to achieve targets outlined in the strategic maintenance plan and ensure full operational safety. * Plan maintenance strategies for the Holding’s equipment to ensure compliance with and execution of proposed objectives. * Control and plan monthly maintenance scheduling to ensure compliance with and execution of proposed objectives. * Prepare maintenance activity reports that guarantee achievement of reliability and availability indicators. * Conduct periodic onboard visits to perform inspections, surveys, and technical data collection. * Assess conditions of mechanical systems and onboard equipment. * Assist in maintenance and repair planning. * Monitor new construction, ship repair, and maintenance (dry-docking) processes. * Ensure QSMS processes are integrated into all defined maintenance strategies to guarantee compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and customer requirements. * Be responsible for workplace sustainability in accordance with available control tools. * Familiarize\-yourself with Baru Offshore’s Safety Culture tools. * Follow QSMS policy and its guidelines, standards, and supplementary procedures. * Immediately report to supervisors any signs of accidents, incidents, or hazardous occurrences present in the workplace, cooperating fully in all investigations conducted. * Cooperate with company leadership and process managers to achieve the goals and objectives of Baru Offshore’s Safety Culture. * Ensure all PPE and pollution prevention and firefighting equipment under direct supervision is used correctly and maintained appropriately. * Be responsible for maintaining good conditions in one’s workplace. * Avoid reporting to work under conditions that could compromise safety during assigned activities. **Requirements and Qualifications** Mandatory: Technical High School Diploma (Electrician, Electrotechnology, Automation, Industrial Electronics, or related fields) Desirable experience in: * Project planning and execution, preparation and control of assessments; * Mechanics, Hydraulics, and Electricity.
