RPEOTTA is seeking an experienced and motivated **Earthwork Engineer** to strengthen our engineering team at our headquarters located in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop detailed earthwork projects, including cuts, fills, platforms, slopes, and access roads, ensuring stability and volumetric optimization. * Perform earthwork volume calculations, balance, and project optimization, aiming for the most efficient use of materials. * Prepare technical drawings, cross-sections, longitudinal profiles, descriptive reports, and specifications for services and materials. * Coordinate interfaces with other design disciplines (drainage, paving, structures, etc.). * Analyze soil borings and geotechnical studies to support earthwork design and ensure structural safety. * Conduct necessary reviews and adjustments to align projects with field conditions and regulatory requirements. **Requirements:** * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D (or equivalent), with emphasis on surface modeling and volume calculation. * In-depth knowledge of current technical standards (ABNT, DNIT, DER, etc.) applicable to earthwork and infrastructure projects. * Completed undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
