




Job Summary: Design, execute, and guide engineering projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution; automation; and special machines and equipment, developing specifications for construction and maintenance. Design, execute, and guide engineering projects in the areas of power generation, transmission, distribution, automation, special machines, and equipment. Develop specifications, drawings, and other requirements to enable construction, assembly, operation, and maintenance according to appropriate technical standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop electrical projects; * Analyze, review, and validate electrical projects developed by third parties (basic and detailed); * Suggest technical solutions for panel layouts, substations, cable trays, cable ladders, and cable routing; * Define criteria and specifications for industrial electrical equipment and infrastructure; * Design and oversee the development of supervisory control systems (in partnership with contracted companies); * Provide technical support to civil, mechanical, automation, utilities, and IT engineering teams; * Interface with suppliers, designers, system integrators, and international engineering teams; * Monitor project progress, construction activities, provide technical support, and report developments; * International travel may be required depending on project progression; * Develop automation projects; * Develop supervisory control system projects; * Develop automation software for various applications; * Develop medium-voltage projects (substations, transmission lines, etc.); * Design using EPLAN P8 software; * Develop national and international suppliers of machines and equipment; * Manage internal and outsourced teams for field service execution; * Liaise with suppliers, prepare tender documents, and develop schedules; **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Desired Education: Postgraduate degree in Automation and Control. Postgraduate degrees, certifications, or courses related to Automation, Electronics, Electrotechnics, Project Engineering, etc. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in EPLAN P8 software, industrial automation, PLC programming, HMI programming, inverters, servo-positioning systems, industrial electrical installations, and supervisory control systems; knowledge of technical standards (NBR, IEC, NEC); proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); and intermediate-level English (minimum) for reading and interpreting technical equipment manuals, communicating with foreign visitors, and international travel. Desirable Competencies: Knowledge or experience with SCADA and control systems; familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit); and familiarity with panel, substation, and electrical protection system specifications; Behavioral Competencies: Proactivity; willingness to travel; strong verbal communication skills; organizational ability; autonomy; teamwork; flexibility; attention to detail; and focus on quality.
