Warehouse Supervisor

Description

Monitor and carry out activities related to receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials to customers, aiming to ensure appropriate stock levels and work quality in accordance with company standards and procedures. **Responsibilities and duties** * Monitor and execute material handling operations, selecting the appropriate transportation method for each type of cargo; * Plan the arrangement of stored materials to facilitate identification, location, and handling; * Conduct inventory inspections jointly with the team; * Establish staffing schedules aligned with required operational movements; * Supervise employee shifts and attendance; * Ensure that tasks outlined in the Work Guidance Document are being performed; * Ensure that occupational health and safety regulations are complied with by the team; * Conduct and/or support daily safety briefings with the team; * Maintain communication with freight carriers and suppliers regarding material deliveries and returns; * Gather priority-related information from internal customers concerning material requirements, thereby guiding shipment scheduling and the teams under supervision; * Interact with customers to address their requests and ensure delivery deadlines are met; * Guide/training team members in performing their duties. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Experience in logistics and/or warehouse operations; * Experience in people management. **Additional information** We offer a competitive benefits package aligned with market standards, which **may vary** depending on the operation/contract: * Medical assistance; * Life insurance; * Funeral assistance; * Meal allowance (meal voucher and/or food voucher); * Transportation allowance (transportation voucher or contracted shuttle); * Partnerships with educational institutions; * Professional development and well-being programs; * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PRP), subject to achievement of established goals. **Important:** * Benefits granted according to employment contract and/or collective agreement; * Benefits **may not be** cumulative; * Specific conditions will be communicated during the selection process and upon hiring.
